What a brilliant week in Year Two

What a brilliant week in Year 2! This week we have been very busy. We have learnt all about the Somme in history, looked at cardinal directions in geography, created some beautiful jungle artwork and of course showed off how amazing our school is during open day! The children had so much fun writing poems, making hedgehogs and investigating leaves.

Among all of this, the children have been learning all about and enjoying the music of Bob Marley. This is part of our black history month celebrations. They even managed to learn Three Little Birds in Sign language!
