Trinity Primary School

Dyslexia Friendly School

Our school is proud to be working towards becoming a Dyslexia Friendly School. Guided by the principles of the British Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia Friendly Schools Award, we are committed to developing teaching practices, learning environments and support systems that enable all pupils, including those with dyslexia and other literacy difficulties, to succeed. Staff are continually developing their understanding of dyslexia and adapting classroom approaches so that every child can access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential.

For more information please refer to the Dyslexia Friendly School Policy.

This is a lovely short film from the British Dyslexia Association which you might find very helpful to help understand what it means to be Dyslexic and to 'See Dyslexia Differently'.

It's very accessible, so feel free to share it with your child or other family members."
